El Caballo de España have for over a number of years worked in collaboration with one of Britain’s leading studs for the Spanish Horse.

“St. Piran’s Stud is located in the beautiful fertile part England’s most stunning countryside, Penzance in Cornwall.

Peter has been visiting St.Piran’s stud for a number of years, producing lecture demonstration’s, lectures and clinics, working alongside Rachel and  Paul Bettens with the riding lesson for there client base, dressage training and production of both the traditional and the competitive Spanish Horse.

By carefully selecting performance type mares and putting them to a selection of stallion’s from both St.Piran’s Stud and El Caballo de España we aim to produce a line of “Spanish Sport Horses” that will go to the very top in dressage, jumping and eventing.

The Spanish horse has for centuries been the blood that has brought quality, presence, athleticism, movement and strength to so many existing breeds. Together with St,Piran’s Stud we believe the Spanish Horse has a future in producing world champions in all principles including classical equitation as an art as well as for dressage competition.
